Pitaya, known as Dragon Fruit

Thai name of this delicacy is: Khanun. A characteristic fruit with intensively pink peel and white flesh with black seed, resembling poppy seeds. It is classified as a fruit of a cactus species. The flesh is juicy and sweet, a bit sour when unripe. Pitaya tastes the best You can eat it like kiwi: cut it in half and eat the flesh with a spoon. The interesting thing is that the flower, from which Dragon Fruit develops, blooms only at night.
